The Society of St. Vincent de Paul

The mission of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul (SSVP) is to live the Gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice and joy. It was founded in 1833 by Frederic Ozanam to help the  poor in Paris, France.  The first Canadian Conference was established in Quebec in 1846.  Now there are conferences across Canada and internationally in 130 countries.  Our conference of Vincentians is small but very dedicated and hard working, doing  tremendous work supporting those who come to us in need. We meet in the parish hall on the second Wednesday of the month at 7 pm and welcome new members.  For more information, please contact us.
